Messaging & compliance
Plain-language overview of consent, opt-out, what we send, and how US SMS fits with carrier registration. This is guidance, not legal advice—confirm with counsel for your situation.
Consent before we message anyone
We only send SMS or email to people who have agreed to hear from you in a way that fits how you collected their number or address—for example, signing up at checkout, replying to a campaign, or opting in on a form.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate consent records for your business. Our tools help you send clear, professional messages; they do not replace your obligation to follow applicable laws (including the TCPA and CAN-SPAM) for your use case.
What we send and when
Review requests and follow-ups you configure in the product—typically a short message with a link to your review flow or landing page.
Transactional or account messages when needed (for example, critical notices about your subscription), separate from marketing.
We do not sell lists or blast cold contacts. Messages are tied to your business and the workflows you turn on.
Opt-out and replies
Marketing email includes a standard unsubscribe link so recipients can opt out of those messages.
SMS includes clear instructions to stop (for example, replying STOP), in line with carrier and industry rules. When someone opts out, we honor that for your account so they are not texted again from our platform.
If someone needs help, direct them to your business contact or our Support page—we do not use SMS for unrelated promotions.
US SMS and carrier registration (10DLC)
SMS to US numbers uses approved sender registration (A2P 10DLC): your brand and campaign are registered with carriers so messages are labeled and delivered according to mobile network rules.
Until registration is fully approved for your account, SMS sending may be limited or unavailable—we’ll surface that in the product so you are never guessing.
Message content must match your registered use case. Review requests and customer-care style follow-ups are typical; deceptive or prohibited content is not allowed.
